Initiatives are being explored in Canada and at international levels. As an
innovative anti-poverty strategy, Homeownership is in keeping with the
goals of the national homelessness initiatives and the City of Ottawa's
commitment to increase the supply of affordable housing for low-income
persons residing in Ottawa.
